Best priced coffee and desserts. The desserts are really amazing and cheap, the other food just ok. A med. Flavored latte is 4$ it is very busy but has a great patio with extra seating. But it is very very loud inside.

Great selection of all sorts of tasty treats! Short wait & friendly staff. Prices were very good compared to similar items in US (Portland, Oregon).

The cakes here are excellent quality and reasonably priced. We've always bought cakes for takeout, but the layout inside seems warm, inviting, and set up for conversation with friends. The counter staff were pleasant. This is my go to place for birthday cakes.

This is by far the best cafe in town. I appreciate the staff's attentiveness and excellent service, the freshness of the baked goods and the consistency every time, day or night. They have great wifi, outdoor seating (at Bute St) and an overall chill vibe. Thank you to Breka for providing a safe, comfy, late night chill spot for my neighborhood. Sincerely -A Regular :)

A very nice breakfast joint with a good layout and decent meeting space. They have a variety of sitting options from counter, to table, to informal seating with low coffee stands. They have a counter with a variety of sweet and savoury treats. Staff can point out which items have been baked fresh but nothing is left out long enough to get stale. The bathrooms are small but kept clean. There is a bit of a draft near the doors on cold days. Coffee and tea are served in nice mugs that are stable and not awkward to hold. They have both takeout and eat in options for tea and food. They have an outdoor patio which is open in summer. Parking is only available from street meters or a nearby parkade. However if you have the correct permit they are a short walk from residential parking to the south. There is a bike rack nearby and they are on transit routes. The 24hrs means that you can get some weird customers at night but it is a safe place to study, work and eat at all hours.
