  We picked this location for our trip to Ottawa because there was a great rate, good reviews and the location seemed okay. It wasn't until we arrived that we realized that the location was incredible. Right on the river across from parliament hill, accessible and adorable parking, beautiful park across the street - more than we expected! When we booked it we felt like we had "settled" on something that would do the job, and we arrived, felt like we had won the lottery. The employee at the front desk was super nice and made check in a breeze. She even upgraded us to a room with a view of the river. When we got to our room on the 8th floor and looked out the window, the view was jaw dropping. We would definitely stay again on our next visit to Ottawa.

  It is a bit dated, although the outside looks like having been renovated. Inside the rooms, it looks a bit like from the 80s at least. Clean enough though. The service is not bad too. The location is pretty convenient. But they said that there is no uber on this side of the river.

  The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a nicer room, so they offered us a free upgrade to a room with a view over the water. It's very close to downtown Ottawa, making this a great location.

  Our room overlooked the river with a great view of the parliament building and Jacques Cartier park. We enjoyed our breakfast at the hotel restaurant. It is not a luxury hotel by any means. You get what you pay for. But the overall stay was good.

  Hotel was decent. Depending on which room you get you will have a great view. The room I had an outstanding view of the Parliament building and the park arcoss the hotel. Bathroom is a bit small in my opinion. Not sure about staff friendliness as I only stayed one night
