  I just got an amazing haircut from a student. It was exactly what I wanted - she listened diligently and had a very attentive instructor to help guide her through the process. I have trouble getting this caliber of haircut from an established professional... I feel that the extensive questions they are trained to ask really help to achieve satisfaction for the client. I will go back again soon, this time for a colour! Keep in mind - this is a school and you will have novice stylists performing your services but they have the support and the knowledge of their instructors consistently the whole time. Thank you so much!!!!

  This is a school. So if you are okay with having your hair used as a teaching practice tool, then by all means. They seem to offer two different structures, 'student' cut and 'professional' cut. Although, we requested the 'professional' cut the results appeared to be that of a student, we ended up having to get it fixed somewhere else. Would not ever go back to Aveda at this location.

  Was so impressed with the student. She was friendly, took her time and was over all pleasant. I'm going back to her in January for a cut and colour! BUT the instructor or teacher or whatever she was came off as extremely rude. The students other appointment came in right before she was about to do my bangs so her instructor got impatient because the student wasn't sure how to do my bangs. The instructor very rudely pulled my bangs up and did a hack job. They are extremely uneven (at least 2 inches) and I was honestly just baffled at the behaviour that I left as soon as possible. When I go back in January for the student I will make it very clear I don't want the other lady touching my head.

  Wonderful experience. If you're using the student services, I recommend Bessy. She's very warm and will make you feel welcome. She and her instructor were accomodating with my special request to cut minimum 8" off so my hair can be harvested and donated to Pantene Beautiful Lengths program (partnership with Canadian Cancer Society). I was impressed they squeezed me in for same day appointment. I was a model for waxing exams for two students at Aveda over a decade ago and had excellent experience both times. I'll be modeling for a makeup test soon so I'll keep posted on how that goes.

  I called in to book a same day appointment with one of their senior stylists and was helped to find a time that would mesh with my work schedule. My stylist was incredibly warm and efficient. She completely understood my time crunch and work quickly to get me out ASAP. I absolutely love my cut and will be going only to this salon from now on, especially since I can bring my pug!! 🙏🏼 Thank You!!!
