  Amsterdam Tea Room embodies what's happening in the Exchange District; a perfect partnership between respect for the past and excitement for the future. This place is clearly a labor of love, from the handpainted graffiti-like wall art to the historical tea items on display, lovingly donated by family, friends, and customers. Staff are open, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the wide range of teas. Having recently added sandwiches and cocktails, in a thoughtful expansion of the menu, this place with its large windows looking out on the historical Exchange District is one of the best places around to just chill and people watch!

  This is a very nice spot to grab a drink and have a conversation. It's in a great location and occupies a nice space in a historical building. Highly recommend.

  I love this place. I have really only been here to purchase loose leaf tea (which is my favourite) but since their renovation they now offer some food items and drinks. I am looking forward to trying them out.

  Gorgeous bar and tea room, very friendly staff. Highly recommend for lunch - delicious sandwiches - and perfect for drinks/dinner in the evening too. Great location. Can’t wait to go back.

  Very nice little tea shop! The tea really is the big focus here, although they serve cocktails and a limited menu as well. Their pea soup is marvelous! The staff were all very friendly and the service was excellent. The retail tea selection is extremely interesting and well organized. Naturally, you can order a cup of anything that is available for sale - and they have a quintessential tray of biscuits on the menu for just such an occasion.
