  Calgary, premier wholesale supplier of all things floor and wall tile. Wonderful showroom that's open to the general public for viewing.

  Ames is on the top of my list of places to send customers when looking for tile. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful whenever we send customers to their showroom.

  What you people need to understand is that Ames is a Distribution/Supplier centre. So yes, if you dont have an account with Ames you will be paying retail prices - which is usually cheaper in this case then to go to a preferred retailer of Ames. (That's how supply chain works) As for Ames, they offer a great variety of products and have a beautiful showroom. We have always been happy with their service - We purchase regularly from Ames and will continue to do so!

  I am not sure where the bad reviews came from! We were in twice and dealt with Sandra both times. She was so helpful and friendly and guided us through the whole process. Sandra was a true credit to this company and a real pleasure to deal with. We will go back every time we need tiles. Fabulous experience! Thanks Sandra

  Visited Ames today with my mom who is building a new home. Ames is one of the two tile suppliers on the list hence why we were there. The lady greeted us was arrogant, reluctant to help and after three minutes of interaction, she actually told us "we do not carry that tile, go to xxx Tile they must have it". We did go to the competitor, the competitor did not have the exact same tile either, but the salesperson was friendly and actually helped us find a better one!
