I just spent 4 nights here. Amenities were great. Restaurant great. Rooms were clean but because I was staying more than one night they didn't want to clean my room I had to ask for towels. They didn't even make my bed unless I ask them to. They didn't give me a discount for staying more than one night so why don't they clean my room. I don't expect them to change the sheets and clean my bathroom every day but please take out the garbage and make my bed. They didn't even remove the dirty towels the whole time I was there. You know I wouldn't stay here again

Hotel hosted some of our hockey teams for K4K tournament. They were filled to capacity and service was outstanding. Very very impressed. Room are typical, beds are comfortable and water park is dated but a huge hit with the kids! Had the breakfast buffet one morning, it wasn't the greatest. I suggest ordering fresh off the menu if you are going to eat at the hotel.

Great hotel with friendly staff, clean environment. Didn't have a chance to check out their pool and water slides, but the quick look seemed amazing! The breakfast buffet was spot on with delicious hot options and cold options, or you can order off their menu. At night when the restaurant is closed there are booklets in your room with local restaurants that will deliver right to your room. All in All, it was a wonderful stay, look forward to our next stay. *free parking is a bonus.

The hotel itself is wonderful and the rooms are great too. The pool and slide are great too. This is our second time here within 7 months. I guess there is a hockey tournament so the pool was packed and the teenage boys that disregarded my kids (5 and 2) and hit them out of the way and almost drowned my son. The lifeguards gave them a warning but that was it. There was also 15 people in the hot tub so no one could use it. Hopefully if we come back again it isn't like this but very nice hotel!! Thank you

We booked the Ambassador Hotel for a family trip to Kingston. Before booking through a third party website, I called the hotel directly to confirm that their Junior suite (as it was called on the third party site) definitely had a bedroom separate from the sofa bed. We were travelling with an infant and didn't want to have to go to bed by 8pm with the baby! I was told the "suites" all had separate rooms, the junior size was just smaller than the superior size. When we arrived, our room - though very spacious - did not have a separate bedroom. We called down to the front desk and they told us that junior suites actually do not have separate rooms. The person we had initially spoken to had been mistaken. I'm not sure where things went wrong (maybe I didn't explain myself correctly when I called the first time) but the people working the front desk tried very hard to find a room for us that would work. They apologized over and over again and were very helpful and sincere. In the end, they couldn't find a solution that worked since any of the rooms we needed were already occupied. They promptly refunded our room cost and followed up with a call to ensure we had found somewhere to stay that suited our needs (they wanted to make sure the hold placed on our credit card upon check -in hadn't interfered with our new booking). Though it didn't work out, I truly appreciate the hospitality and hard work of the front desk crew (Hannah and Alaina when we were there). The hotel seems to be a great value for the money and we'll be back at some point in the future!
