::Imagine after going to this place for 2 years every 2-3 weeks and finding out you have been robbed for the last 2 years. YUP thats my story. Basically I have been Tammy’s client. She has been on vacation and she advised I see Vicki while she’s away. I saw her and her work was okay. In my opinion since ive been doing nails since I was 14 and now im 31 i thought she used way too much product to make your nails very bulky and then would shave them off. Even when applying she would put some product on and the rest would go on the napkin. So much so that after doing one hand she needed to flip the paper towel because it was drenched. Anyway after sanding and filing the shape of the nail is pretty good. Then the shellac color i chose started to completely screw up underneath the UV light. It was like someone pressed hard on the nail polish and those finger print spots started to appear. I was puzzled and thought I accidently touched inside the machine but then i noticed all my nails had this weird texture to them. Vicki told me dont worry more coats will fix it. 5 coats later they looked gooped on and disgusting I wasnt leaving that place with my nails looking worse than when i came in. I told her to start taking the polish off. I was livid but kept my cool because also for some reason her refills from start to finish take 2 hours!! Tammy when she does it it takes her an hour. Kim the owner ended up taking over and hurried up the process and when the polish was off i was leaving. She tried to get me to stay saying polish will only take 2 minutes (which is a lie.. no polish regular or shellac takes 2 minutes). I had to tell her a few times im done and she finally got my drift. So i thought this whole time i was getting UV gel so sure enough she charged me $35 for just refill which now im wondering why is it $35 when on their prices menu it says $30 for refill but i guess they charge for length. In my opinion after what happened and after them knowing me for so long after how many times i had to wait for so long and how much money i spend they should of just let me walk but hey business is business and everyone treats their business differently. Now this is where the story gets interesting. I left that place promising myself never to go back. On my search for new nail salons i came across an amazing technician who schooled me on the different types of nails out there. The reason she had too was because I told her i have UV gel and described to her how it is applied. She said that is impossible. UV gel, Bio gel is never in a powder form. The only powder form that exists is acrylic.(which i used to religiously use but when I got there I remembered being told UV gel is much more stronger than acrylic and the one they use is basically a gel/acrylic hybrid. The tech also used the word “powder gel”) Do not be fooled. Any gel is just that GEL. When something is powdered in its original form than it is an acrylic. There is also dip nails which are made with glue, sprinkling on the same powder used in liquid and powder systems, and then adding an activator. ( i got this info on racked.com after i googled the difference between acrylic vs uv gel nails after the new nail tech schooled me). After realizing I have basically been screwed over and lied too the words to describe my level of anger and frustration are probably not allowed to be posted on google so i will refrain from it but you can imagine. Now I dont think Kim will care at all because that place is so busy and has so many clients that even when she is late and gets confronted by her customers she battles it out with them saying that they are also not on time so why should she be. This was an actual convo she had one time with a girl who was livid for waiting 20 minutes. I never understand business owners who tell their clients off in a professional way basically. While i was leaving she told me there was nothing she can do it was the nail polish. I didnt understand if that was supposed to be my fault that she sells deffective polish? Anyway that is all.

::my nails didn't even last a week before one was broken , their customer service is terrible , when i came in to have her fix it they gave me a hard time asking me to pay for it knowing i was only in there a couple of days ago. Furthermore , even when booking an appointment i still had to come in and wait over 20 mins , do not recommend

::the man in charge of my nails was absolutely terrible. i’ve never had a problem going to other nail salons for broken nails done at my regular salon when i don’t have the time to get to my regular salon but THIS was the WORST experience by far. he started my nails with dirty unsanitized tools and over a dirty wet towel that had clearly had previously drilled off shellac red from someone else. i even watched him borrow a tool that was JUST used on another client a second before he asked and not clean it. he tried to sculpt my nails with nail forms that he clearly didnt know how use. he didn’t even file down the nail that was previously there and broken he just filed off the color and tried to use a nail form to CONTINUE a shellac mould from the point it broke which obviously would make it that it would break again easily. he made the nail so thick that it was thicker than a nickel. the shape was super square though my other nails done previously at my usual salon. every time i nicely pointed the flaws out as i didn’t wanna pay for bad nails he and the esthetcian beside him continously gave me attitude. i picked up and left and told them i wasn’t paying for the terrible service. it was so bad i left before they even got the color on. they tried to grab me and wouldn’t let go of me. terrible job, unsanitary, rude & over charges certain people. STAY AWAY. if i could give this 0 stars i would.

::Lora, one of the staff members there was absolutely amazing at doing pedicures. But most of the staff members are not as experienced... One of them made several cuts on my sister's skin while polishing her acrylic nails. Also got grossed out by the cockroaches that kept crawling in the salon chairs. If you just want a quick and expensive manicure and pedicure and don't care about loud noises (karaoke session in the salon) and cockroaches then this place is okay.

::Got a toe infection for the first time in my life. Ouch. Good price though, and they did a good job with my toes. My pedicurist was fine, but I saw some rude behavior from others which I assumed was normal for T.Dot. The other customers didn't seem to be offended. She did make me wait a long time to pay though (I mean, drying my nails didn't take 30+ min under the fans), but it was pretty busy and she needed to move onto the next girl. I would've appreciated that if I was waiting.
