  When they say "No Frills", they truly mean "No Frills". I don't think I have been treated more like a farm animal than when visiting this place. The butter did not behave like butter - in taste, how it melted nor when having a section removed, the cottage cheese did not taste like normal cottage cheese, the olives were odd... at least the produce was normal.

  Good pricing on most but not all items. Must know your prices. Very no nonsense shopping. Staff are helpful and pleasant

  Good stop. Prices are low but quality can be questionable. I have had bad experiences with meat and milk being obviously expired before their expiration date. Otherwise, the obvious place to buy canned and frozen goods because it's cheaper than anywhere else nearby for the exact same product.

  Bad store, bad owner and bad neighbour. Good price on certain things. The meat here is of very dubious quality. Oliver's bread is fresh daily. Produce is usually pretty good. Employees smoke and discard (litter) their butts in the alleyway. Their delivery trucks idle below condos and honk their horns instead of ringing a delivery door bell. This business DOES NOT clear their sidewalk of snow. Theft from really shady characters is rampant in this store. The owner Alfie does not return emails from neighbours with concerns. Lastly parking here is awful. It is so painful. Alfie's no Frills also doesn't check their garage and stairwells at night for homeless people that live and defecate in our building stairwells. Alfie's is a bad place with an owner that doesn't care even a little bit about his neighbours that he is affecting. I do as little shopping here as possible.

  My local grocery store. Has No-Brand labels, AS WELL as your regular big brands. A lot of people think No Frills is all no-brand, but it is not. You will find fresh produce (including organics), meats, cheeses, frozen foods, toiletries and more. What makes this No Frills unique is their Halal section, their big cheese selection and they ALWAYS have stuff on sale - I strongly recommend to always walk by the frozen fridge section closest to the registers, that is the "Specials" section. I've purchased good Pizza's for $2.39 each, or snack size Haagen Daz for $1. There is always something. Free Underground parking with a wheelchair accessible elevator is located via the back alley - make sure not to confuse the Tesla parking area which is right next to it ;)
