  Terrible bedside manner, I was told not to speak and when I refused his pain medication he assumed I was looking into getting painkillers when all I was looking to was to get my issue resolved. he told me that i needed a procedure that was not offered in Thunder Bay and that i had 3 choices to have the procedure done Toronto, Winnipeg and one other place (can't recall). He NEVER described the procedure to me nor did he sign a travel grant. he did all the talking while I could NOT have a word in edgewise. He has no compassion for his patients and has no care about what we the patient have to say or question about! He told me i should not have pain from multiple kidney stones and that what i am feeling is them moving around ... when i tried to tell him that they do hurt i was told not to speak ... i was greatly appalled! he told me to take antibiotics for two weeks (i just finished taking a months worth of antibiotics) when i tried to ask him why i needed antibiotics when i was infection free he just ignored me and told me to do as told. he got up and said i can go home and that his office should be contacting me i got dressed and walked up to him and said excuse me while he was walking away, i then told him it wouldn't hurt to be nicer to his patients and i turned to walk away. He followed me and he walked back into the nurses station then asked the nurse for my chart then was writing in my chart. what did he have to write in my chart after i confronted him? he was finished with me and was leaving the emergency dept ... after reading the reports about him on Rate My MD i totally agreed with more than half of the complaints about him he has a bad attitude and totally unsatisfied patients. Stay away from this doctor if you can! he should be reported and retrained and disciplined by all means! he is definitely not worth waiting for unless you like to be belittled by anyone. just because he has MD in front of his name does not give him permission to treat you this way ... my dog gets better treatment from his Vet!
