  I highly recommend that you do not move here. There has been a mouse infestation for the past three months, and it is yet to be resolved. As delightful as the incessant scratching noise coming from the walls may be, I think being able sleep at night would be preferable. Furthermore, CLV Group doesn't consider rodents to be an "emergency" situation, but rather an inconvenience. Therefore, if you see a mouse run under your oven on a Saturday night, and try to call the emergency hotline, they will inform you that they are unable to even take a message, and you will have to call back during business hours. But hey, if you enjoy building DIY mouse traps out of 2L bottles, or if you're secretly a cat, this is the perfect place for you. Additionally, it took CLV Group two weeks to get pest control to my unit when ants showed up, leaving me to spray the 50+ ants that magically appeared every day. There are also garbage shoots on each floor that go to the garbage room located in the basement. So, if you're lucky enough to snag an overpriced basement apartment, I hope you enjoy the stench of rotting trash. A part of me does want to thank CLV Group, though. For if they had maintained their building properly, I would have never found mouse droppings on my countertop and come to the nauseating realization that vermin were scampering amongst my food. Without this push to drive down my appetite, I don’t believe that I would have ever lost those five extra pounds to get me into bikini body shape. All kidding aside, living here these last five months has been extremely stressful. I understand that mice and insect infestations can happen in any building. However, CLV Group was overall deficient in the handling of this situation. The problem is still ongoing, my concerns were not dealt with in a timely fashion, and my request for compensation was not adjudicated in a serious manner. I would not be moving if they had been more helpful and responsive to this really upsetting situation.

  The usually miserable experience of finding a rental apartment in Ottawa with great. Staff members were friendly and quite helpful. The property itself is beautiful and well maintained with a 2 minute walk to the canal and the footbridge in one direction and a 2 minute walk in the observe direction to all that Elgin street has to offer. Great place!

  I can't wait to live here!! My boyfriend and I discovered 45 Somerset St W on the internet and the next day we had an appointment to view the apartment. The location was what sold us, super close to UOttawa, but on the opposite side of the canal which is much quieter. Being pet friendly, reasonable costs, very clean and an inviting environment was icing on the cake! We're very pleased with CLV Group and will continue to rent from them.

  Well renovated, garbage chutes on each floor, laundry room tidy and machines were always available. In unit I liked having a dishwasher, and the closet space was really generous. Unit was spotless when we moved in. Walking distance from all amenities, the market and ottawa U.

  Loved living here, conveniently located steps from Ottawa U, the canal and Elgin st. Really clean and modern. Had no problems with the apartment, so not sure about response times for maintenance/repairs.
