YYoga? Y Bother? This place is like lipstick on a pig. Their facilities look nice at first glance, but lockers are broken, front desk staff have horrible customer service and instructors are sub par! Their policies are completely unreasonable for downtown workers for the following reasons: - You can lose your reservation if you donā€™t show up 10 min before class (y bother?) - You are considered rude if you donā€™t stay the whole class (like really? We are all adults here and not children) - They are completely inflexible about their policies - And most importantly, it doesnā€™t really seem like they care Customer Service? Completely absent in every faucet of their business. They are rude or lazy. Iā€™ve seen the guy at the front be rude directly to a customer (even rolling his eyes). The ladies are totally hit or miss. It pains them to make eye contact and you feel as if you are ruining their day by signing in for class. Unreal. The instructors? Meh. The couple yoga classes I took were not even nearly as good as Moksha. The spin class instructor Hana kinda seemed mean. It felt as if she got pissed at those in class who wanted to go at their own pace. I even witnessed her critize people for drinking water and towelling off at ā€œinappropriateā€ times???! Seriously? Iā€™ve never experienced an instructor like that before. We are all adults here. I think we are all capable of determining when we want to drink water or push ourselves harder. Some people have medical reasons as to why they canā€™t. So why not be more accommodating? The only good thing they have going is location. If it were not for that, I doubt their clientele would stay with better options out there. Donā€™t waste your time!!! Please like my review so others can be warned!!!

I bought a pass that has five classes in it. I had to go through an emergency surgery suddenly and for post op , I needed to rest for 2 months. I asked yyoga to extend my expiry date for another month due to this unforeseen medical condition. The answer was " No"fight away. It is very sad to see such a reaction from a yoga company. You expect compassion and understanding of these people specially if it is regarding your health . people do yoga to become healthier , happier and to reduce stress. I lost $100 dollars worth of my pass. Even flight companies accept medical notes from doctors and surgeons . I would never ever go to yyoga again. Join equinox as they have several free yoga classes and a lot more .

Booked a YRide class through Classpass and I really loved it. The space is clean and the atmosphere is calm. The complimentary tea is nice. For a downtown establishment, it's very spacious! The Yride class was challenging since I am a beginner but instructor Brianna was very motivating and reminded us to not be too hard on ourselves because we got up and made it there! Also, going at least 15 minutes early to settle down and be ready is very important. With the bikes, everything has to be adjusted according to your body and comfort level so you will need ample time for that. Yyoga's pricing is quite expensive for a student like me but I will be back using my Classpass :)

So disappointed! YYoga is all about money. There are so many reasons why I will stop going to YYoga on Burrard. 1. Couple days ago I took a power yoga there. The class started 10 minutes late and the yoga instructor didn't show up at all, so the lady(she teaches there as well) that came to practice yoga as a student had to replace the instructor. 2. Today I came to the class that starts at 2.30pm, and I was told with a sneer and smirk that I'm late for 1 minute and have to come back at 4pm Seriously?! 3. Moreover, the fee for their membership is quite high, but they also charging extra $3 each time for yoga mats.... I've been practicing yoga over 10 years in a different countries including Canada (5years) That the first time when I see unethical, unfriendly and unprofessional environment... Don't recommend this place!
