Nice library, recently renovated, however the internet connection is slow and unreliable.

Awe-inspiring library , with its monumental architectural style , while at the same time creating newer and modern spaces on the inside ! Built in June 1899, I think it’s hard to walk into the west mount public library and not have a sense of deep respect ✊🏻 for all that they hold and stand for , I wish I am living in the West-mount district to have more access to its services , It has a variety of activities and services for all generations , It’s one of the very few seed lending library in the area , which means , it offers free seed for members for more than 50 different varieties of plants , including herbs flowers vegetables fruits beans and heirloom varieties . A culture of sharing and sustainability ! I would recommend anyone to visit this distinct library , and i am so sure you’ll thank me :)

Great place to read or learn about cultural activities in Westmount. You have to reside in Westmount in order to borrow books. The library is large and space and plenty of current magazines around. A tiny section reserved for computer usage for members alone. The WI fi is not too strong and depends on daily usage. Test it. The staff is helpful. One special event i's book Sale once a year. The location of the library is ideal within the huge Westmount park. Enjoy your visit & you will!
