  Audio department employee by the name of Rob needs to learn how to communicate over the phone with clients, I called to book an appointment over the phone for a further install with the car audio department. I have previously received all my work from current installs from them, there is an opening for the next weekend and when I asked what times are available Rob responded " well you know you need to pay for a booking time" I simply asked what times were available and his response was cold as if I wanted for free. I am well aware that install are not free as I had mentioned I had all my work domt from them before, and his tone changed when he had asked if I needed to purchase a product to install, in which I said no I already have the product, which is when Rob sounded cold on the phone. I am well aware I need to pay for an install and that nothing is free, which I why I wanted to book a slot but I am not paying before hand for service that I not complete, and when I received all of my previous work from this location I was not asked or told that i had to buy slot times, horrible phone service and not worth me going in to discuss any further business ventures with Visions. This is the second employee within the last week that needs retraining on how to speak to people and my friend and I were in on Saturday.

  Great environment, good team, did not feel pressured into a sale. I went in with a pretty good idea of what I was looking for and what I wanted to spend. The salesperson I dealt with, Mario, was very helpful in finding something that fit into what I wanted. I'll be back again.

  I'm often skeptical of electronics stores where it seems like they are being pushed out by online retailers, however this particular Visions store continues to surprise me. A few years ago I got an excellent deal on a receiver ($100 off), and over the weekend they had a very good deal on current-gen bookshelf speakers that were $150 cheaper than I'd seen elsewhere online (including US stores and directly ordering from the manufacturer). I have been to other Visions and this one seems the nicest and offers the best deals with no haggling required, which I prefer personally. They also had a very good selection of TV wallmounts that are higher quality than what I could find from other online retailers (though are a little more expensive because of that), so I additionally purchased a wall mount here. Overall the salesperson who helped me was very nice and was very knowledgeable on all the products and knew exactly what I was looking for. My only complaint is that the sales-process was a little rushed, so just be aware of that when going in the store not to get rushed around too much.

  Right from the time we walked thru the door, our experience was exceptional. We started out dealing with Nigel alone, then he called over Richard, the installer, to help out, too. We told them what we wanted, and they did their best to accommodate us. They never tried to 'upsell' us into a higher cost bracket than we were comfortable with, but they also directed us to the best quality components within our price range. We booked the install for about 10 days later... Richard called us about an hour earlier than booked, and asked if he could come in sooner. He was professional and very knowledgeable and a pleasure to have in our home. We will definitely deal with Visions for any future purchases.

  I really like the staff and the prices. It's nice to know that it is a Canadian owned enterprise. Most items and small installation bits and pieces for Car Audio or Home Theatre are in stock and if your not doing your own work they have qualified people to ensure the set up of your equipment so that your getting the most out of your purchase, Mario, Nathan and Dylan are the people I have had the most direct interaction with but causal conversations with many of the other staff was helpful as well, Especially with the ever changing Technology landscape of consumer electronics, regardless of whether your in the industry or not it's hard to know everything and the staff is there to lean on to help clarify what's right for you!
