  This value village has a pretty decent selection, and since it's a thrift store the prices are pretty good. Although you must be careful when buying anything electronic, and check whether or not everything is in there, I bought a game, and it had 4 of the 5 disks, I wasn't aware at the time. So just make sure to check before purchasing. Staff is friendly though, so overall, not a bad experience.

  I very much enjoyed visiting the Calgary version of a USA Goodwill. That is what it reminded me of anyhow. Great selection and pretty fair price. Got a pair of high top Chuck's in really good condition for $15 dollars and couple of graphic tee's for $5 each.

  We know we can still get both our " useful" and big bargains at Value Village, which I now have much more time for. Here bargains exist, as the best reason for going here. Always something good here; be it a bargain or a super-bargain. I have always spent a lot of money on non-bargains while searching here for "great bargains." Other thrift shops spend far too much time filtering out potential "too good" bargains, but the result is to make it much less worthwhile to shop there.

  Great place to find cheap nick nacks or costume ideas for Halloween or themed parties. I have found some beautiful dresses here with the new tags still attached for a fraction of the cost as they were new. Occasionally you can hit the jack pot with some of the things you can find.
