  I'm giving this place 3 stars because the Amish Paste Tomato seeds and Sweet and Jalapeño Peppers have all done pretty well thus far. However, I ordered the seeds on February 3 and all my seeds came except the lavender. There was note saying the lavender seeds would come later, which I was okay with. I e-mailed Urban Harvest on Friday, March 16 and asked when I can expect them and they told me the seeds had just been tested and would be mailed out to me on the following Monday, March 19. It is now April 9 and I still have not received any lavender seeds. UPDATE: I was told they would be coming very soon. Thanks to Colette for her help rectifying the situation :)

  I've always found unique and interesting varieties, and love Urban Harvest's community vibe. I always look forward to my little brown packages at Seedy Saturday events!

  I get almost all of my seeds and seedlings from Urban Harvest. I appreciate that they care about biodiversity and that their products are all organic and heirloom. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They don't put out seedlings before it's safe to plant them in the ground, which is a small detail that makes a big difference for the inexperienced food grower. I learn more every time I go in.

  BEST organic, heirloom, diverse, conscientious plants and seed in Toronto. Collette is passionate and dedicated to sustainable agri and providing to our city.... I've been using her seeds and seedlings for over a decade, and family and friends are always impressed with what I grow and have started sourcing from her as well... BEST in Toronto!

  I purchased seeds from this company and it took forever to receive them. One thing that pissed me off big time and I will never order from them again is they had me pay a shipping charge of $5.00 for the few packs I purchased and that is fine. However, when I received my envelope the stamp showed they only had to pay $1.80 to ship the seeds. Therefore making money on the shipping. I know it is not much money to complain about but to me it is just sneeky and unfair. I buy seeds from all over and Urban Harvest seeds are quit expensive in comparison so to make more money off my shipping charge as well has made me an angry customer
