  Dodge the 'Lodge It's just not good value. It's got a nice retro thing going but it's totally rundown. I don't usually mind, But not at these prices. I stayed last minute with my pet because the Super8 was full. It cost 33% more and the breakfast was pretty lame in comparison.

  I can't say enough about the Travelodge Thunder Bay Ontario to the cleanliness of the rooms, to the uplifting and upbeat attitudes of all its employees I had a chance to interact with a lot of the front desk staff. And I have to say that they go above and beyond the Call of Duty with their jobs they're very accommodating very understanding and very very kind and courteous. I've had the opportunity to stay in a lot of hotels in Canada as well as a broad and I can honestly say that they are the best staff that I've ever came across at any hotel that I've ever stayed at so if you're ever in Thunder Bay and you need a hotel to stay in try to Travelodge on Memorial Street

  ridiculous good service which is a big deal for me the room was cozy but clean, and just right, and the price is also very good too; it's close to everything you need also great for travelers as is close to the highway - improvements, maybe just to update some minor features like the tv and the heater seems a bit old but if staying twice in the same line of hotels and get the same quality service and welcoming feeling I have to say I am impressed and that is hard to do. 👍

  If it was possible, I would have given zero stars. The staff was friendly enough, but that's about all the positives I have for this place. The bathroom was disgusting with mold stains, dirt and a cracked/very worn tub. The faucet was dingy and if I hadn't just spent the previous four days camping, I would have skipped the shower all together. As it was, it turned into more of a bath because the tub wasn't draining properly. The whole building has a bit of a 'high school' smell, like it's not given a good clean very often. But my main complaint was the price. I was travelling with a dog, so I understand being charged a 'pet fee', but what I was not expecting was having to pay a service fee for having a safe in my room, even though I had not requested or was even aware of a safe in my room. My one night stay that should have cost about $120-130 (which is rediculous in the first place) ended up being ove $160. For one night! All in all, will never stay here again, will never recommend anyone else does either.

  Washroom was not cleaned before arrival. Hair all over the shower walls and toilet was visibly dirty. Towels seemed to be fresh but other than that washroom was dirty. Breakfast was very minimal but good. Rest of the room seemed clean but who knows...
