  First visit at this salon, and it was awesome. Michelle gave me a very cute haircut. She really understands how to work with curly/wavy hair. Nice atmosphere with a friendly, buzzing vibe. I will be back next time I need a haircut or touch up :)

  First time in...and it won't be my last! Michelle gave me the kind of super modern sleek cut you can't get in Ottawa. Her precision and creativity is unrivaled! The salon itself has a warm and welcoming vibe, while Donna and staff take the time and courtesy to treat clients with stellar service.

  The Cool Red Room is one of the best salons I have visited. If you like a smaller salon, with a great vibe and professional staff - this place is for you. I have been a client of Donna Nash's since before she opened her salon and have always found the level of service I receive to exceed expectations. My hair is quite fine and I always had trouble with it, but Donna has always taken the time to explain how she is cutting my hair to suit what I have so the style I am looking for can be achieved. I am never disappointed. I am also a huge fan of Petula who colours my hair regularly - her knowledge of colour and technique always ensures my hair colour looks like my very own. Great spot and I highly recommend checking this salon our for yourself!

  The Cool Red Room is by far the best hair salon in Ottawa. I have known Donna for 30 years and was really happy she opened her own salon. She has a solid foundation in hair, colour and products. She and Petula work really hard to ensure they are providing excellent services to all of their customers. I highly recommend this salon. If you are looking for a cutter that has a passion and the technical skills to cut hair, this is the place to go!

  Have been going to Donna at the Cool Red Room for almost six years. Always a great cut, and a super experience. The energy in the Cool Red Room is just great. Donna works so hard to teach and mentor her younger stylists, and it's great to see the enthusiasm in a great salon, and a dynamic learning environment! Special welcome to Michelle!
