  I regularly get my hair done at The Loft. Always a great experience, they even plug your meter for you if you're not done yet and you're parking is up. Parking would be my only complaint - but that's downtown winnipeg for you!

  I love this place!! The people there are nice and they treat you like a king!! I get my hair done here all the time and I look AMAZING!!

  I had my hair appt with Gina. Gina and I took about 10 minutes at the beginning to talk about the colour and outcome I expected. I had specific examples and photos to also go along with what I wanted. Lets just say I ended up with NOTHING how i wanted it and was forced to pay 130$ for it. I broke down into tears and was/am still very upset with the outcome. When still at the salon Gina tried to re-understand what I wanted and swore she could fix it. I let her try while still there and it ended up worse than before. At this point I had already been there for 4 1/2 hours. When speaking to the manager and owner of the salon they were not sympathetic, they did offer to do a session to fix my hair, however the damage had already been done. Overall I am extremly disappointed and upset about the customer service, damage to my hair that was done, and the price I was still forced to pay.

  I have been a customer of the loft back when it was salon one eleven and sets. I have had several stylists and estheticians in those years and always remained loyal. I recently stopped coming to the salon as my esthetician left the company. My feedback to this salon and owner would be the vibe in the salon is very pretentious and is not welcoming. The past owner although I wasn’t her client would ALWAYS smile or say hi or acknowledge me. The loft never made me feel like they valued my business. I would also recommend that people not smoke by the back door where the estheticians work as it smells and as you are in the beauty industry, this does not promote health and beauty. I wish this salon all the best and would particularly like to recognize Kristen who although I was never her client, she always acknowledged me, held herself to a high standard and if I didn’t know better conducted herself as is if she was the owner or manager and face of the salon. She is a great asset to your salon and you are lucky to have her. Also, Andrew is amazing! I truly miss his friendly demeanour and positive attitude. He was one of the few people that didn’t act like he was better then everyone and treated all clients with the same respect. You can have an expensive beautiful salon that serves alcohol and promotes a bougee lifestyle but none of that matters if the vibe is horrible. I hope you will learn to be humble and greatful for the business you have.

  I've been avoiding the salon for a while because I just can't seem to find a good hair stylist I can trust. I took a leap of faith and went to see Annamarie at The Loft and left with no regrets! She was very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. I'm more than happy with my hair right now!
