  The keg in Prince George has excellent service and great food. Never been disappointed here. Good drinks available, bread served while waiting for orders, good steak based menu. This Keg is Better than others in the province. Wait staff are attentive. Never had issues.

  Very good service and the food was near perfect. Some steak was more rare than ordered but otherwise it was excellent. And...because of the too rare steak... they gave us free dessert... Thank you.

  Never going back. Very disappointed. We went for a birthday party last night and I knew I shouldn't have ordered a steak but decided to give them a chance. The special was a sirloin so I ordered it. A short while later one of the managers came out to apologize that they ran out. Odd. I ordered the whopping $37. peppercorn New York steak and specifically had a conversation with the manager that I haven't had a good New York in years because restaurants in Vancouver started substituting them with other cuts or cheaper quality. He assured me that theirs is not like that. Uh Huh. Well, my first cut told me right away that he lied. It was tough, fatty, and didn't have much taste. I tried a few more cuts but it was so hard to chew because it was probably old meat to begin with. I told the waitress and she removed it from the bill. I also was told by one of the guests that a former employee said that they buy 30 day aged beef and that it's from the older, tougher animals. Cheaper obviously, if that's true. Others had complaints too. I saw what was supposed to be baked potatoes that were so burnt they were unrecognizable. There were other complaints too, but you get the idea. Our server was amazing! She was so well organized it was great. She also told us it was her last shift there because she was tired of getting so many complaints about the food and the managers weren't willing to do anything about it. Why should they? They have a goldmine there because of a lack of better places to go in Prince George, plus the fact that so many people obviously don't know what good quality is. What a shameful way to run a restaurant. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

  Top 5 restaurants in town. Plenty of seating. Good service. Downtown location. Good food.
