  This is Home Depot lite. Centrally located for those within walking distance or arriving via transit but not remotely comparable to full scale store for serious material needs. Note: no dimensional lumber or insulation. If you are driving, go a few minutes around the corner to the Terminal location for better selection and free parking.

  I had a good experience with both the ordering and installation of custom kitchen counter tops. The lady pictured here (Sarah) went above and beyond. We picked through the receipt to see where I could cut the cost. Each sink was going to be $100 each just to disconnect them. I called my own plumber who disconnected, installed new sinks, drains and faucets for the same fee. Every detail was explained to my satisfaction. Installers they contracted were good too. Would use again.

  I really like this Home Depot store. It’s smaller and don’t have all the products compared to the other locations but is so convenient and close of many other things. On the same complex you can find Winners, Save-on-foods and lots of other small stores. Some staff are really helpful but some of them aren’t that friendly with people trying some DIY like myself. The parking cost $3 for the first hour and they don’t refund it anymore (no matter how much you spend).

  AMAZING experience, seriously. I had a whole list of things and one employee walked me through the store and helped me find everything. Then, when I accidentally dropped my card and didn't notice he chased me around the store to return it to me. Absolutely amazing, well done I'm so happy with the service.

  I had the best experience shopping at this Home Depot a few weeks ago. While trying to figure out a shelf for my tv (...long story), I asked an employee for advice. This employee told me to talk to Gordon in the paint department, as he is known throughout the store for his creative and innovative solutions. Well, I'll be damned! Gordon was funny, enthusiastic, helpful, and super knowledgeable, and he helped me design a tv stand that was unique, effective, and reasonably priced. So I asked about another furniture-related need and was witness to some of the best teamwork that I have seen in a long time between Gordon, Rob, the lot staff and the Scottish guy at the cash desk (sorry, I can't remember your name!). Thank you so much to the wonderful staff at the Cambie St Home Depot - your advice and helpfulness was so appreciated and I can't recommend you enough! And a special thanks to Gordon for his can-do attitude and brilliant solutions - you are amazing!
