  I have dealt with Don at the Garage Store for over 7 years, when he first installed polyaspartic covering on my brand new garage floor (fantastic product that has held up extremely well after 7+ yrs) after building my house. I recently went back to Don when I was in need of wall storage and ceiling storage options. I ended up installing both Proslat wall storage and a USA made 4X8 ceiling lift to hoist and store tires, lawnmowers and other stuff, and couldn't be happier with both the product and the service. Don's Installation Coordinator and Customer Service Manager, Maria Karamanos, was excellent in understanding what my needs were and recommended the lift I ended up purchasing. She also ended up coming out with their installer (Jesus) to calibrate and show me how to operate the lift. My entire experience with Don, Maria and Jesus was top notch and professional, and I have the comfort in knowing that Don and his team stand behind their products should I ever encounter any issues. I highly recommend The Garage Store for any of your garage accessory needs. Mel R.

  The owner dosent know how to properly finish a floor, does not take responsibility for poor workmanship, and is completely unprofessional. Take your business elsewhere unless you want to support someone who tries to bully his customers Edit (in response to reply from owner): That is a nice spin on actual facts. I spoke with my father about his issues with the garage flooring and the conversations he had with Don, the owner. My father had his garage floors coated by your company in the fall of 2012 – it was a black, white, and grey speckled coating color. The floor is regularly washed but the last couple years staining started to take place on the finished top coat. So this fall my father wanted to determine the issues with the flooring and have it rectified so he called your store and asked for someone to look at the flooring. This is when he ended up speaking with the Don, the owner, who told him that the rust problem was not the Garage Stores responsibility and if he wanted it fixed it would have to be paid for. My father conceded to this but was more concerned about discoloration of the flooring and the flaking off of coating material which was most pronounced in the linear tire track locations where cars would drive into the three bay garage – not near the floor drain pans where some rust was present. There were other areas where the coating was also flaking and the areas were losing a lot of the grey and black fleck colorations and were turning whiter than the rest of the floor. The owner did come to my father’s house on September 18, 2017 to inspect the garage when I was present to meet with him as my father wasn’t available. You indicate the owner ‘physically’ cleaned off the areas that were stained which is not true – he wiped one small discolored area (1 ft2) and said that is how you clean the floor which was still somewhat stained once he was done (note that my father bought a cleaning product from you within the last 1-2 years and tried it as per your instructions, but the stains would not come off the floor). The owner didn’t tell me how to clean or care for the floor but only kept saying for the 2 minutes or less that he was present was that it was a good floor, they did a good job in putting it in and there was nothing wrong with the floor. The flaking or lifting of the color flecks within the composite floor coating and the whitish discolored sections of the floor that had lost significant color, he said that was normal. Don then jumped into his vehicle and sped out of my father’s driveway with nothing more to say. This is a more accurate portrayal of what occurred. As per my father’s information that he was supplied when he bought the floor, there is a 20 year warranty against delamination and discoloration. Well both these issues are apparent on his garage floor and it is now obvious how The Garage Store deals with customer concerns or warranty issues – you don’t. With respect to me or my father coming into your place of business to ‘try and rectify the problems’, we tried with the owner, and I have just provided you with the results of that attempt.

  Customer service is hard to find now a days BUT that has not been my experience at the Garage Store. I discussed a minor problem with them in November, which they immediately looked into. We decided that they should wait until spring to try and resolve this minor problem. They said that THEY would call me in the spring to set up an appointment. Believe or not, they did call in the middle of April, set up a day and time the last week of April and showed up ON TIME. They worked on what I thought was only a minor problem all day and left me with a beautiful garage floor. NO CHARGE. Nice service personnel, polite, cleaned up everything.

  Very knowledgeable staff but the starting price point is quite high.
