  Good place for all ages. If you're walking around bring some water along, the food places are a bit expensive. Great place to skate also, Dress warmly it you go on the river... There are warming huts but they don't do much if you do not have appropriate attire. If you payed for parking, it's better to get the full day parking so you don't have to worry: enjoy your time with your family and friends. Good to go at anytime of the year, there are often many event going on in and around the forks. On Canada days there is also a fireworks show. If you want some indoor time you can visit the forks market or the Canadian museum for human Rights.

  Great place to spend the afternoon.. great for the kids, family whomever you choose. The common us a great concept to experience different ethnicities and styles of cuisine. The fact that you wander the first floor with your beverage makes it even better!!

  The Forks has historical significance to Winnipeg, but as someone who's new in town a lot of it is just lost on me. It's a nice enough place to meet and hang out, but for shopping or groceries it's not that great. To make up for it though, they do have various summer and winter events, which are generally pretty good. They're also have quite a few shops in there which sell locally made products, such as ceramics, clothing and candles

  Always like going to the Forks, there have been some significant changes in restaurant venues and some of the kiosks that sold neat stuff are gone, but the choices that are there are still top notch! No matter what you get it's good! Hit White Pine cycle or the toy store when you're done eating or any of the other exquisite and unique shops. Just a good place to come to.

  A great place to pick up a tea or a meal at the food stands or in a restaurant. The shops are always interesting from locally made specialty foods to jewellery, clothing, skin care products, artwork and ceramics, specialty wine and beer. Good performances from buskers and local entertainers. There is ice skate rental and a skating area either just outside the forks doors or on the river. The human rights museum is an easy walk of 5 to 10 minutes from the forks shops. In the summer, the children's playground and splash pad area is a great place for young families and easy access to bathrooms and picnic tables. Very scenic walking paths all year round.
