  Visited from Edmonton after watching "Chris" on their YouTube channel doing reviews for years. It was a great experience. Was tempted to max out my credit card but fortunately I had restraint. The Camera Store is the best Camera store in Calgary possibly in Alberta. Will make pilgrimages to The Camera Store from now on.

  Had the most amazing experience buying a camera and lens here. Louie helped myself and my spouse and was so kind and knowledgeable. There was no pressure, just great information and making sure we knew the helpful store policies we might need. I strongly recommend The Camera Store - they even throw in an in-person photography class when you buy a camera.

  Bought a camera with Air Miles and the camera wouldn't power up (turn on) so I decided to stop in the store to see if they could advise or provide a fix. Within a short period of time they determined that the battery and SD memory were fully functional and the camera would need to be returned to the vendor for warranty consideration. I really appreciate the fact that they were willing to take the time to troubleshoot this camera and I now feel confident that I did nothing wrong and did follow the manufacturer's instructions and will now contact the manufacture.   Year 2016: One staff was patient and friendly in answering my questions. Another staff wanted to close sales quickly and did not want me to inspect the flash i was purchasing. Overall experience was positive. This place has lots of cool toys and can get you addicted. Year 2017: Made several visits, staffs were always nice. Year 2018: Staffs were very friendly and helpful again. One staff didn't know where gels were, but immediately get another staff to help. Thank you! The Camera Store rocks.

  This place is home away from home! The staff are friendly, funny, knowledgeable and super helpful- especially the two goofs who are always wearing white shirts and glasses. Larry is also a sweetheart. Happy Birthday, Larry! The book selection is excellent. I always swing by to get inspired and learn about some amazing photographers I never knew existed. They also carry c41 chemicals to develop colour negative film from home, which is a plus for medium format photographers shooting colour and that don't want to ship their film out. Love this place!
