  The Colonnade is Old Faithful to many Centretown residents. The service is prompt, the owners and staff friendly, and the quality of food is consistent. Despite the name this is a pizza joint serving thick juicy pizzas that bear little resemblance to their Neapolitan cousins. You'll often hear the folks at the next table asking for a box to take the leftovers home with them. The large Caesar, Julienne, Italian or Garden salads are meals in themselves and good value for money. You can also get pasta and some other things. This original location has apparently spawned another five franchises across Ottawa so there's something in the down home formula that seems to work.
