Super helpful! I would recommend shopping for a bike here. Patient, helpful, even offered to customise the bike to meet my needs.

Best service I have had in years! Totally reasonable prices, great people, great job on my bike...they had no problem doing what I needed when Bushtukah and Fosters said it couldnt be done. Really fantastic experience all around, cant recommend enough!

I have been shopping at Tall Trees for a few years now. They have been my go-to shop for everything commuter related and everything winter biking related. I have also left satisfied, with great friendly service and exactly what I needed (regardless of whether it is service of parts). The staff are super helpful and knowledgeable. It is a fantastic shop, with great selection, great service, and just an all around great vibe. Tall Trees is among the few stores I point people too when they ask where they should shop for bike-y stuff.

I shopped around for the better part of last summer, looking for a bike to fit both my budget and my needs. I'm not a performance cyclist, and needed a quality, durable commuter that would still have enough get-up for a weekend ride. I settled on Tall Tree Cycles because unlike virtually every other place, Grant (the owner) put me on a bike that was first oriented toward my needs, rather than strictly putting me on the highest performance bike they could within my budget range. So I saved money on the bike, which let me invest in some necessary accessories. On top of it all, once the bike was built, Grant honoured a sale that had started after my purchase, further reducing the cost. The bike is a Kona Rove--a real beauty in terms of looks, functional and unpretentious, and with great versatility for roads, parks and paths. Thanks for the help! (Sidebar: my commuter tastes aside, these guys obviously love the off-road experience, but also have regulars on high end road bikes. It's a fun boutique shop, slightly different than how you'll be treated at a larger bike store, and the proof is in the personalized service you get, as well as some of their more interesting accessories.)
