  I have been staying at the Sylvia for close to 35 years, but may not return. My room was nice, but unheated, with the exception of a small space heater, I found hidden in my walk in size closet, however the closet had no light, so it was fumbling with light from the hall. However, the biggest problem, which to me is a big problem, was the bed, which definitely had seen better days, it offered no back support, and was most uncomfortable. I was there three nights, and wrote the information about the bed down, along with my name and room number after the first night. I gave it to the desk person the second morning ,who showed absolutely no concern, told me she “would let housekeeping know.” Nothing was done for the other two nights I was there. Parking is now also 18 dollars Canadian a night.

  Historisches gebäude, strand direkt gegenüber. Zimmer haben klassisch nordamerikanischen Stil.

  Zimmer sind leiter veraltet . Bad ist nicht akzeptabel. Preis leistung ist nicht gut . Giebt in der nähe andere hotels.

  Tolle Atmosphäre, tolle Lage an der English Bay und zur Hop & Off Haltestelle

  Schön gelegen an der English Bay und direkt am Stanley-Park. Das Hotel kann man von mir aus ab dem 1. Stock aufwärts abreissen, sehr renovationsbedürftig, die Möbel fallen auseinander, hässliches Bad, keine Isolation, kalt. Darunter liegt ein wunderschönes Pub mit nettem Personal.
