  I wish I could stay longer. The rooms are beautifully decorated and great view. The staff is amazing! The best service I have had in a long time. The restaurant is superb! I highly recommend staying and eating here.

  Stayed at the Sutton this past weekend while in Van for an event ... as always the Sutton never disappoints!!. Manger - Rahul and his front desk staff never fail to meet and exceed any and all expectations .. no detail/ request is to small and their attention to detail is exceptional. I visit many hotels around the world on a regular basis and it’s great to find such incredible service and quality this close to home .. the leadership and employee enthusiasm at this location really shows !!!

  What you would expect from a higher-end hotel. Very clean rooms and great view from the higher levels. Modern and updated rooms enhance the experience and really increase the hotels comfort and experience. In-line with ultra luxury hotels within downtown Vancouver. In the suites, the AC units are in the other room which means the bedrooms have a tendency to heat up during hot weather. Opening the window does help a little but not much due to the security in place preventing the window from opening all the way, but also the sound from the traffic outside then starts to become an issue. Friendly and professional hotel staff for the most part except for some of the valets. The valets aren't as professional as the rest of the staff though. During my visit, I had called down to the front desk to have them bring my car up for me, gave them 15 minutes notice. Expectation was that after I got downstairs, met up with my colleagues that the car would be outside and ready for me as it usually is. To my surprise, the car wasn't anywhere in sight, and when I asked the valet, he was very rude and mentioned that they've been busy. Stood around afterwards for another 10 minutes while he brought my car up all to realize that my car was parked around the corner and he had not bothered to even look for it. We ended up walking over to the car ourselves after I grabbed my key back from this one valet. That was very disappointing. Close to many amenities downtown and makes getting around very easy. Location is prime and a 10-15 minute walk to most amenities.

  On New Years Eve we were looking for a taxi. The young gentleman at the desk was helpful and tried to call a taxi and searched for the bus schedule. He offered for us to sit and wait for a taxi to arrive with guests. Then we could grab it. Such great service and hospitality. I would definitely recommend the Sutton Hotel to friends.

  Amazing Guest Service… The Sutton Place Hotel in Vancouver is my personal favorite hotel to stay when in Vancouver. As soon as I arrived with my vehicle the valet attendant greeted me with a big smile and said welcome to the Sutton Place Hotel. The front desk clerk greeted me saying thank you sir for being patient, as today has been a very busy day. After checking in the desk clerk said thank you and enjoy your stay with us. Once in my room I phoned downstairs to the front desk to ask a question. I talked to Nana, the Assistant Front Desk Manager. You could bottle up Nana’s personality and sell it… Nana was extremely helpful. Thank you to all the Sutton Place Hotel staff, for once again making my stay a memorable one. A Martin
