Came here as I got the groupon for the full cut/highlights for $100. On the phone they told me there would be a small charge for thick or long hair. I said that’s fine. Came and asked to get a balayage and she told me it would be an up charge. I Said ok. I was in the chair for a total of 4 hrs. My hair looks good and I’m quite impressed but I get to the till and the girl ringing it in is like ‘so an extra $50?’ And the stylist said no $90. So after taxes it came out to $100. This is insane to me as the groupon is worth $200... so that makes the service worth $300 after the extra I paid? I would have came back as she did overall a pretty good job on my hair, but I am so not impressed with how much I had to pay. I could have went to another salon and paid the same amt without a groupon.

With respect to the tanning portion of the business, I’ve yet to see any staff smile. Let alone be friendly. I walk in and feel I’m an inconvenience. There is now warm friendly feeling here. The other day i walked in and placed my lotion and goggles on the counter. The girl asked me if I had my lotion and goggles with me. The staff seem so disconnected. Zero customer Service. I’ve been in beds where the bulbs don’t work. And speaking of bulbs. Many of the beds have bulbs that are actually dusty. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. I should have known that buying 300 minutes at $41 was too good to be true.

I had booked an appointment on sept 14th for a mani(shellac) and classic pedi. When i checked in the lady at the front desk was on her personal phone and didn't seem to know that someone was coming in for an appointment. It turned out that she was my esthetiction. She gave me some nail colours to look at while i sat in the lobby, then took me to the pedi chair. Once i picked my colour and my feet were soaking, she left me in the room for about 20 mins. I didn't know where she was or if she was the one doing my appointment. Once she came back she started working on my feet, she was very rough and didn't really look at what she was doing, she even filed the side of my pinkie toe and broke the skin. We chatted lots throughout the appointment which was good but everytime she started talking she stopped what she was doing. I didn't feel satisfied with my pedicure experience. After the pedicure i was taken to the manicure area. She again was taking lots and not paying attention to what she was doing. She filed down my nail to the skin, she noticed as i winced in pain and apologized. During the manicure she somehow changed the conversation to music talking about homosexuals and asked me if i wanted my son listening to that. I was shocked!!!! I told her that it doesn't matter to me and asked her to elaborate on what songs she was talking about but she didn't. She then started talking about how god made men and women so they can reproduce and what would happen if everyone was gay and if we accept gay people then whats stopping people from having relationships with animals!!! It was unbelievable. I was honestly so disgusted and shocked, i just stopped talking to her. She could tell i was not impressed because she stopped talking too. It was a terrible experience. I thought she was nice at first but by the end i just wanted to leave. She was very cold to me afterwards and just waited around at the front desk for her tip, she didn't even say goodbye. So after all of that on my very first day on holidays (which is why i got a pedi) 3 of my toe nail polish disappeared and by the second day 6 toes were gone, the third day all i had left were my big toes. I was so utterly disappointed. My toes looked horrible the whole trip. I have emailed the manager and since i purchased a mani and pedi through groupon sunsera is not willing to help.

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. My pedicure ($70) took just a half hour though and here is a shot at day 5. I know i'm an easy case as i dont get calluses, but my nail beds were not prepped well and my half moon line shows right through not to mention all the chipping already! I wasn't even on the beach...is was a sock weather week :(
