  My name is Julia, and I am from Poland. I am very happy that I joined Step by Step Proficiency. I took two classes - Grammar and Pronunciation, for only 2 months but I see that my English has improved a lot. In the beginning I was a bit hesitant about studying Pronunciation class but after I took it, I changed my mind right away. Learning English pronunciation (with a native speaker!) has helped me overcome my personal English limitations. I think that this is particularly helpful. Greg is an expert in teaching English, and he does it in his own style. Always focused, precise and above all full of passion for the language and teaching. It makes you believe that you can learn this language quickly and efficiently. I think that the methodology developed by him is a result of many years of practice and observations that come from teaching English to hundreds of students from many different countries. I started the course on a lower level than other participants but I did not feel uncomfortable at all. I think that Greg can adjust the level of classes to each student - he gives everyone attention. Although I worked at night and often came to school tired, the way Greg conducts classes made me forget about fatigue and I was able to participate in the classes fully. Greg is a special person and teacher. I think that it is worth coming here for half a year (the whole course), I am convinced that you can fully learn English during this time. For me, the school "Step by Step Proficiency" means “day by day better English" :) ! Jestem bardzo zadowolona, że trafiłam do szkoły Step by Step Proficiency. Uczestniczyłam w dwóch modułach kursu – gramatyka i wymowa, jedynie przez 2 miesiące, ale widzę, że mój angielski jest znacznie lepszy. Na początku nie chciałam uczestniczyć w lekcjach wymowy, ale w końcu zdecydowałam się i to była bardzo dobra decyzja. Nauka wymowy (z native speakerem!) bardzo pomogła mi przekroczyć bariery związane z językiem angielskim. Powiedzenie, że Greg jest ekspertem w nauczaniu obcokrajowców, za mało opisuje jego styl. Zawsze skoncentrowany, precyzyjny i przede wszystkim pełen pasji do języka i nauczania. Ponadto widać, że wypracowana przez niego metodologia jest efektem wielu lat praktyki i obserwacji procesu nauki języka angielskiego przez obcokrajowców. Zaczynałam kurs na niższym poziomie niż inni uczestnicy, ale nie czułam dyskomfortu. Greg potrafi dostosować poziom prowadzonych zajęć do każdego ucznia – każdemu poświęca uwagę. Mimo, że pracowałam w nocy (online w czasie polskim) i często przychodziłam do szkoły zmęczona, sposób prowadzenia zajęć sprawiał, że zapominałam o zmęczeniu i z pełnym zaangażowaniem uczestniczyłam w zajęciach. Greg jest szczególną osobą i nauczycielem. Polecam kurs wszystkim, którzy mają jakikolwiek problem z tym językiem. Myślę, że warto przyjechać tu na pół roku (cały kurs), ponieważ przez ten czas można w pełni nauczyć się angielskiego.

  Hi Guys! I’m Luis from Mexico City. After I joined Pronunciation and Conversation classes at Step by Step Proficiency, I finally realized the importance of learning English pronunciation to get rid of my foreign accent. I think every student needs it, no matter what level they are at. In Conversation class, I discovered that the real goal is to stop translating and learn how to say something as I would in my own language. By doing this, I realized that there are different expressions that mean the same thing in English and Spanish. I’ve improved a lot in a short period of time, thank you Step by Step Proficiency!!!! ¡Hola Amigos! Soy Luis de México. Me inscribí al curso de Pronunciación y Conversación en la escuela “Step by Step Proficiency”. Me di cuenta de lo relevante que tiene la pronunciación en inglés, este curso me ayudo eliminar mi acento de extranjero, considero que todos los estudiantes lo necesitan, no importando el nivel de inglés que tengas. En la clase de conversación, el verdadero objetivo es dejar de traducir, y aprender a decir algo como lo haría en mi propio idioma. Al hacer esto me di cuenta de que hay varias expresiones que significan lo mismo en inglés y español. He mejorado mucho en un corto lapso, ¡gracias Step by Step Proficiency!

  My name is Sarah and I am from Paris, France and I would like to recommend Step by Step Proficiency to all ESL students.The school is conveniently located, right downtown. I spent almost 2 months at this school and I can see that I really improved my English, especially my pronunciation. My teacher focused on every student's individual needs and knows exactly how to fix any problems that you may have. I really liked the atmosphere in the classroom and I had a great time there!
