  I stopped in new years eve after work for some cold medication. Cold night, my truck wouldn't start. Being later on new years eve I couldn't get a hold of a tow truck or cab. I'm relatively new to Tbay, basically only know my co-workers and they weren't available. I went back in to ask the security guard if there was anyone that could give me a boost. She asked an older woman near the til, not sure if she was a manager or just an employee standing around doing nothing. The older woman looked at me and said "I'm not giving you a boost". I was a bit dumbfounded by her tone so I wished her a happy new year and left. I can understand someone saying they weren't comfortable boosting or she couldn't leave the store or any reason really. Someone like that does not belong in customer service. A customer saw my hood up and offered to help, if you read this thanks again. I hope I see this rude woman broke down somewhere, I'll still help but not with a smile. The security guard was nice and helpful but I can't give more than 1 star from this experience.

  Usually open on holidays. Good place to go if you forget something.

  I have used Shoppers Drug McIntyre Centre since the mid 80's. They have always taken good care of me, my children and grandchildren. They have just about anything you might need and have good instore sales as well. I've also used the one on Arthur Street as well and they have a lot of in store specials. The customer service is great.
