I feel near certain that the workers at this establishment make a point of not answering phone calls. I go into the post office here and they tell me that, even though I have a slip stating that my package has arrived, it’s not there. The woman then proceeded to explain that I should be calling in order to first make sure that it’s actually there, so that I’m not “holding up the line”. I have called that post office on countless occasions, countless times, just to wait on hold for around 10 minutes only to then finally be hung up on. Sometimes they answer, though never with an apology and typically when resent in there voice. A good aditute can go a long way. I suggest avoiding this location, and especially it’s post office, at all costs.

It is only convenient if you're downtown and in a pinch, needing something a shoppers would sell. The staff are slow and check out, there is always a line, not as much selection as the others in town.

Worst pharmacists and pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Their lack of basic knowledge is frightening and actually dangerous. This reflects very poorly of shoppers drug mart itself for letting such incompetent people represent them. Last night the pharmacist advised us for a 7 year old child with the flu (Puking, fever, headache) to take 6 of the same pills in one dose. I had to ask him to repeat himself, because there is no way a sane person would advice such an unbelievable remedy. Luckily the child’s mother new better then to follow this dangerous and absolutely ridiculous recommendation by said pharmacist and we bought the child Chewable Advil. One dose which is 2 pills easily chewed solved the issue for the night and my niece fell asleep and woke up feeling so much better. I shudder to think of the outcome if we would have followed ( and I use this term lightly) the professionals advice. Go to a different pharmacy if you can, obviously Shoppers Drug mart does not care how they are represented by their pharmacist and the safety of their customers. In comparison to what the “ pharmacist “ recommended to the Children chewable Advil it seems it comes down to the all mighty dollar. DISGUSTED.

Honestly the worst service I have ever received anywhere. I have never written a review for somewhere before but because of such brutal and down right rude service that I received from 3 of the workers at the pharmacy, I thought I had to share. Two workers were whispering about me right in front of me, they wanted to charge me the full $400 amount for a prescription, they would not accept my parents insurance, and they wouldn't even go and confirm with someone else. So I left and went to the plaza shoppers and they accepted my insurance no problem and I got it for free. I will never ever go back to this one on elm st. if I could've rated this a zero I would've.

Been going to this post office location since it opened, all my packages go there due to my geographic location. I've consistently received horrible customer service for for over 6 or 7 years. The older lady other reviewers mention is generally rude. The line ups are usually long, yet they won't get extra people on the other cash or will continue doing other tasks before serving customers. Went there today to mail a letter and was told I needed an extra stamp. Fine. I had to stand there for a minute before being acknowledged. Was told to "wait while I figure this out" when I asked if I could get an extra stamp. The lady seemed annoyed that I wanted to mail a letter. I can't always control whether my packages get sent to this location, but I won't be going there anymore to mail things out.
