  Great decor the reason for 2 stars is I ordered a Curry and asked for no vegetables and if I could get a few potatoes instead. I was not able to leaving me with meat and sauce. Any other place would have accommodated the simple request. Was also never asked if there was something I would like to drink

  Lots of cultural decor in this cozy family restaurant. The proprietors are quite friendly and have brought the charm and taste of Thailand to Calgary. I will definitely eat here again. They're conscious of spice so the dishes don't come out blazing hot. Medium is just fine for most entres. Also, if you're lactose intolerant, ask for the Thai tea with coconut milk. It's not on the menu but the owner was gracious enough to give it a shot. Turned out great.

  We had been to Rose Garden for dinner a few times before and always had delicious meals. Recently we went for dinner and it was a whole other story. We had the chicken satay to start which was fine. For our main we had the Pad Thai, which we had on other visits. What has happened? The dish was dreadful. We got a pile of noodles, with chicken and a few bean sprouts. Previously, when we had it, it was full of bean sprouts, chilli, pieces of egg/tofu and peanuts. It was disgusting this time. It was like having a pile of instant noodles on a plate. We looked at the menu after ordering and saw they had blacked out the missing ingredients from above. I don't know why. I am not sure if management or the chef changed but we will not be returning. It also took a really long time to get our bill, even though the restaurant was empty.

  Yes this is A restaurant where you can see and taste authentic Thai spiced food. The chef is Thai. The table servers are Thai. The food is authentic cuisine. You do not need Bangkok just for their food and people. You can go visit this restaurant and experience the Thai people and their famous cuisine in the middle of Calgary city. Be reminded the the price not cheap as the foods and drinks are great. At the end you got what you paid for...satisfaction in taste and experience.
