Love this hotel when staying in downtown Toronto. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. It's close to good restaurants, a well stocked convenience store, and lots to do. The lobby bar is a great place to meet friends and have a cozy nightcap.

Comfortable clean rooms in a great location. To start with, the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was not very good. Poor selection. I was in Canada and they didn't have any maple syrup or anything to put it on for that matter on the breakfast bar. Spend a lot of time waiting on the elevator and a couple times we gave up and took the steps (13th floor). The staff was great, always friendly and helpful.

Be very careful when booking with this company that you understand what your room rate is for each night. We booked 8 rooms and were given a rate of $ 180/night under the assumption that we could use our CPSA booking rate. However, the person doing the booking thought we said CPA even though we were very clear about the name Canadian Professional Sales Association. Therefore, because we were not from CPA our rates were: Night # 1 $180, Night # 2 $ 439, Night # 3 $ 299. We had a colleague book on line for Night # 3 and they got the room for $ 224, compared to the $ 299. We on numerous occasions engaged with the hotel manager and there was absolutely NO compromise. I'm afraid this has tarnished my thoughts of the Marriott hotel chain.

The staff was friendly and accommodating which is nice to encounter. This place is great for a quick stay after a night at the entertainment district with some friends. Regular rooms have a king-size bed with an extremely comfy couch. I mean... the couch looks hard, but the cushions made me almost want to sleep there instead of the bed. Also, there is a kitchen area with one washroom within the bedroom. So since the washroom is in the bedroom, if you're staying with friends, you'll have to keep the door open for people to pass through when they have to go. And if your friends are drunk and need to puke their brains out, give them the bed. (Just a heads up). I have stayed at this hotel about 4 times and have nothing bad to say except for the sometimes overwhelming smell of Indian cuisine on the bottom level due to the neighbouring restaurant.

Room was very nice... enjoy having a kitchen when we are in a different city so you don't have to eat out. The breakfast was great for a free buffet. The people are nice. The pool was a bit small, and the water kind of pools on the floor around it which makes walking around kind of hazardous. Otherwise a great stay. Right in the heart of downtown Toronto.
