  Is this Canada? Everything seems normal until you make your way up the room. Volleyball-sized lumps in the carpeting (WTF?), elevator doesn't work and the ice machines are shot on every floor. Open the door and the smell is rancid, the bedding is very old and dirty. The heater doesn't work, broken remote, coffee maker is dirty and old; lighting is poor, crusted dirty sink and tub. We asked to be moved to another room thinking it'll be better, except for the working remote, the room was in the same poor condition. Talk about lowered expectations. The last draw was when the alarms kept going off in the middle of the night (3 times). NEVER COME HERE!

  WOW! One thing to say: WOW! Just entering the lobby, you feel like you chose the right place! The lobby and restaurant are just newly renovated and they are amazing! I went up to my room, and again: WOW!! this view!! this spectacular view!! the whole city and mountains!! That is the most beautiful view I've never seen! I hope you get to see the same! The room was large, with a huge bed, and still so much space. Even a balcony! WOW! After all that, when you get out of the hotel, Cambie and Broadway Streets are just there, with shops and restaurants. But more than that: CANADA LINE!! Right across the street! A minute to get downtown, and not even 20min to go back to the airport! PERFECT! Conclusion: Great choice, great stay, great hotel.

  Dingy scruffy and very dated, odor in room, stains on armchair and dusty heating/cooling unit Strange hallways and eerie feeling, reminiscent of "The Shining" Not recommended, if you're desperate it's better to find a Motel 6 or other similar chains. This hotel has been there for 32 years according to a worker and in my opinion, needs an update. The carpeting bulges out of the floor like golf balls. Narrow hallways that bend and twist and a couple staying there commented, "It's very strange, very weird place". Open the room door, there is an odor like antique stores. The bedding comforter smelled, at least the sheets looked clean but very itchy to the skin. If you sleep in shorts, beware. Don't expect service, the ice machine broke down on two floors not checking others, coffee maker dirty, towels are cheap, remote control broken, poor lighting, dirty heater, armchair had stains, and carpeting not very clean. The price on the room was expensive compared to the quality. I called my company to have them book another hotel. I would not recommend staying here.
