  Meh. Nothing amazing about it. Drinks were okay. A poached giant sea turtle and peacock feathers align the wall we sat along as decor. Situated in old Town, so I guess good location. I would recommend Cold Room speak easy over this place.

  Decent bar, becomes really trashy after 1pm. Great for a regular grind-fest. A lot of blond girls.

  A bar for young crowd, nice atmosphere, not fancy at all. The drink list on the other hand way too short for my taste. I think this bar has seen better days.

  Nice place but found it expensive for what you get. ordered fried chicken for 17$...nothing else served with it (no fries etc). Come on!! But in revenge the 2 pieces were very good. Maybe just a good place to have a drink.

  Philemon is one of those places you go to where you know what you will get, always a pleasant time. Drinks are fine and the price is good for the old port. Music is fine and the people and vibe have so far always been good. I wouldn't call it the go to spot for a night out in Montreal but definitely one of the safest bets.
