::Highly recommend this place to anyone who lost their pet. Very emotionally helpful. The lady that was working at that time, even cried with us because my family got very emotional to say good bye to our beloved dog for the last time. I did make phone calls to other companies before I found Pets at Peace, but the other companies in Toronto were really rude and off putting. But Pets at Peace was very emphatic. Thank you, and my family is so lucky that our last moment with our dog was so memorable.

::We had to say goodbye to our beloved Roxy on New Years Eve and due to the holiday were concerned of how we could say goodbye to her. Despite it being New Years Eve, Diane was amazing and offered to run her errands early and stay open later so we could bring her in and say goodbye (and not have to wait until after the holiday to bring her in). She was so kind and caring and we all really appreciated the compassion she showed us. Thank you, Diane.

::Helen is the owner of Pets at Peace, and after the death of a beloved pet, her service is one of respect, compassion, understanding and ongoing prompt and helpful communication. Experiencing pet loss is excruciating; a pet is there for us every day, loving unconditionally and weaving itself into every aspect of our lives. Losing an animal is something we are never ready for, and having the services of Pets at Peace helped us immensely. Pets at Peace assists in many ways, and a "pre-need" form may be completed ahead of time (on their website, not a firm commitment), minimizing the work required when the dreaded moment arrives. Transport from home or a vet's office is offered, as well as cremation, and a service if requested. The website outlines all of the options available. We received our dog's ashes and fur clipping, as well as a beautiful urn and paw print, all enclosed in a baby blue box, as requested. The online memorial is an option that helps to heal, as one may post stories and photographs, light a candle and make donations, and view contributions of others. Our dog's memory will be kept alive, for us and for those who knew and loved her. Helen manages a difficult job respectfully and with great compassion, and we thank her. She answers all questions promptly and accommodates those of us who love our animals, with great patience and sensitivity. Animals hold a huge place in our lives and hearts, and are sent home as they should be, thanks to Pets at Peace.

::Just a short time ago, my daughter Sara and myself brought our sweet boy Toby to Helen at Pets at Peace. Our trip was a long one all the way from Ottawa. We wouldn't have taken our boy to anywhere else. I can say wholeheartedly that Helen is one of the finest people I have had the pleasure to meet. Toby was 14 when he died. My boy Zeke was 10 when he died, and my sweet Rosie was 16 when she died. Helen has taken care of all our sweet babies and I will always be indebted to her for showing such kindness, care, and compassion for our babies and for us, Sara and I, who grieve for them now and forever.
