  Pet Value engages in animal abuse by keeping live fish in Dixie cups. Drugged and unable to move, these poor beta fish are tortured. New research indicates that fish are far more intelligent than we ever thought before, they can even recognise themselves in a mirror - a rarity in the animal world. Treating sentient beings like this is cruel and unnecessary. When I asked the staff about this practice they went silent and looked away, unable to defend the needless cruelty. I won't be returning to Pet Value until they end the sale of live animals and I hope that other animal lovers speak out as well.

  This place worst pet store I have ever been for a month I have been get my dog venison go brand I went thursday last week told they will order it told me to comeback Monday i came today what the did the store clerk they don't have it again they told me last Thursday not to call. So not even I wasted my time going there I didn't get my free bag and I wanted to make buy another bag I'm done with this place they are also rude and franchise owner is very rude too.

  Josh is the best! They offer delivery and Josh is quite expert on all of the store's SKUs. This location at Jones and Danforth is a standout franchise in the Pet Valu chain.
