  I love their pet wash station such a great idea. Sometimes there's not very many towels which would be nice to have them fully stocked as one towel isn't enough to dry my big dog

  My beagle LOVES coming here and is always more than welcomed with attention and treats. She can get excited at seeing other dogs and the employees at this store don't make us feel bad in the least if she's barking etc. unlike another big pet store at Preston Crossing. We've purchased our crate, crate pads, harness, treats, toys etc from here and she's gotten her nails trimmed here as well many times with fantastic results. The owners/employees are always helpful and friendly. We've always been able to find whatever we need and will continue to come back and support this great store!!

  When this location first opened I made sure to pay a visit. I brought one of my dogs with me. As many dogs do in a PET supply store, they will put their paws up on the counter because they know there is a treat coming their way from the other side of the counter. The aged woman with the shoulder length stringy hair raised her voice and said "get your dog's paws off the counter!". Great. Decided then and there that we would not be back. I have been back there a few times for adoption events; she is always there. I have had nothing to do with her during those events, until...today. I asked if there was a washroom, and she told me to go to Tim's. I was shocked and said "I'm sorry, what?" and she said "Tim HORTON's!" I have NEVER experienced such rudeness. Adoption events are held at other Pet Valu locations and I have NEVER had that problem with those locations, or with any other pet establishment that holds adoption events. I'm not the only person who has had issues at this location, but I seem to be the only one who isn't shy about posting it.

  This is my favourite pet store. Friendly staff and quality merchandise. We bought a cat tree here after having to return two to other stores because they were flimsy. We now go here first before trying a bigger store.

  Happy to have this store in our neighborhood! The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. They support a lot of local rescues and seem to have events almost every month. My dog absolutely loves going there!
