  I deffs liked whiskey dixx better, but nothing beats the Pal! Go here for a turn up, lots of dancing, loud music and people. It's nice that they host booty shake Mondays because we all need somewhere to get drunk on a Monday (if needed). Since it became the Pal, lots of middle aged people are there. There's nothing wrong with that. Just wanted everyone to know what to expect

  This is the worst bar I have ever been to. Several years ago these two men got me a drink. Rye and Coke. I felt the drink had been drugged. I had one precious rye and Coke before this drink. This has never happened to me before. I brought my full drink up to the bar (basement bar) even still with ice in it. I asked they replace my drink because I thought it had been drugged. The bartender did not grab any security to help me. Didn't take my complaint seriously (if at all) and then did NOT replace my drink. This bothers me as much as when it happened 3 years ago. I'm happy I was able to say a review. Girls don't go here.

  I'm not one to normally write a bad review but I'd say any place in the city is better than going here. There's a reason for the 20 1 star reviews

  I had a great time at this place. Being from the states, this was one of the easier places for us to find. I didn't notice anything shady going on like other reviews say. The bartenders were great and were great, security guards were helpful and fun (even though they probably weren't supposed to be). For a couple of American girls, we had a fantastic time, and we will definitely be going back next time we visit Winnipeg.
