I've seen this cafe while passing by Ryerson University for quite sometime, and I finally had a chance to meet up with a friend at that cafe. Great venue, it was relaxing to be there. Great service as well!

Update: coffee is back to good quality (thanks today's barista!). Sadly, no sandwiches left already at 1:30 PM so I leave 4 stars instead of 5 Cozy place with good coffee and tasty sandwiches. Perfect for work & study. Don't get confused by thinking that they're closed (no lights outside), they are usually open ;)

Good coffee and nice atmosphere. Themed as a literary bar with quotes and passages from authors and high profile works strewn throughout the establishment. Staff are professional and friendly. Restrooms are clean and bright. Can be a little drafty and cool in winter. Lots of plugs and great internet provided by Beanfield, a great place to hunker down and get some work done.

Loved the place. I was there in the afternoon on St Patrick’s Day - was a really cool vibe with Irish music. Staff is really friendly and coffee tastes great (had a cortado). I found the place a bit dark though- a bit more light would be helpful. Apart from that fully recommended! 🙂

A neat nook that serves coffee, light food, and tons of craft beer on tap! It’s right by Ryerson and has wifi so you’ll find students working there. They also have a couch and lounge area at the back for a bigger group as well. That being said- they also have a humble shelf of board games if you ever want to play. Nick and his staff are super knowledgeable and well trained in their craft of brewery so rest assured if you visit that you will definitely find something that suits your taste buds. Will be back!
