  Excellent helpful staff. Found inexpensive parts to fix garage door opener, came with lots of free advise! You don't find that on Amazon.

  Expected good service by calling a big reputable company. Problem was the garage door was not opening fully in the cold. Tech arrived and increased spring force, tightened chain, adjusted limits and things ran fine for a few weeks. Then the chain tension caused the motor shaft to snap. Called another company that inspected everything and mentioned the chain was gradually more loose since the house was built due to the opener being out of alignment. tightening it caused the opener to fail prematurely. Evidenced by a pile of metal shavings on the top of the opener that overhead door did not bother to look at. The other company rebuilt the motor and corrected the original alignment problem, taking a couple of hours, for less than overhead door charged for a 20 minute service call. Avoid this company, it seems the techs have no idea what they are doing.
