  I have worked with Mike, Amanda & Kya on a few occasions and they have been nothing but fantastic! Assisting me with the design of my home show booths and coordinating the delivery and installation. They have provided me with great service and it has help ease the stress in knowing that everything is taken care of. As a local designer in Ottawa, I can appreciate the complexities of running a small business and offering great customer service. I would highly recommend Ottawa Special Events if you are looking to rent or purchase any products for your next event.

  OSE is the best rental service in town!! Mike and his entire team are always so helpful and accommodating for all my rental needs, big or small. They provide quotes in a timely manner, always with the best prices and never complain when I make last minute changes to my quote. Can’t recommend this company enough, they are a one stop shop!!

  We were blessed to host the Toronto Argonauts fan appreciation party on November 25th. at Barley Mow on Bank street. To be able to host the event we had to rent a large outdoor tent. We reached out to Mike from Ottawa Special Event for help on dressing up the inside of the tent from satellite bars, generators for power and back-group lighting and branding. From the first conversation with Mike to the actual event the ENTIRE experience was so easy and simple. Mike knew how to suggest things that we were overlooking but at the same time was considerate and accommodating to our budget. The instal team were professional, courteous and helpful even on some items that were not theirs. But where Mike demonstrated the most dedication was when my tent heater (rented from a different supplier) stopped functioning at 11:30 pm, I messaged him in case he could walk me through it, but instead he jumped in his truck and came down to have a look for himself. You don't find that type of dedication just anywhere. I recommend Ottawa Special Events to anyone looking for small or large events. Thank you Mike and the entire team!

  For context, I run my own event production and marketing agency in Ottawa, Whiskeyjack Media. We were hosting a major outdoor event for a client, when the day before it was clear it was going to rain *all* day. We had some tents, but nothing serious enough to protect from the crazy weather they were calling for, as we had to protect our photographer's massive set up of lights, Christmas decorations, backdrops, camera gear, and the like. I called Mike (owner of Ottawa Special Events), and he told me what we needed - just one commercial grade tent - and arranged for its immediate delivery (same day, on a Saturday, in the evening). It came promptly, truly SAVED THE DAY the next day (see happy clients in the photo, very dry under the tent!), and was picked up just as promptly when the event was done. These guys are solid - call them for any of your event needs, and they'll take great care of you. I'm a happy customer! :D
