  HI ll please read....I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET HELP FROM THE POLICE DEPARTMENT ON ELGIN ST OTTAWA AND GOT NO WHERE WHAT IS THE POINT TO HAVE POLICE OFFICERS NOT DOING NOTHING BUT EATING DONUTS BEHOND THE WINDOW AT THE STATION......I HAD HIRED MOVERSD TO MOVE ME NAME,,,scotts moving they have over charge me and not have respected their ad on kijj now they are still in business do not hired this guys you will loose everything you owned as i did.they have stolen everything i owned included my chefs knifes worth 10 thousand dollars,when to the elgin station about 5 times and haven;t get any help form the police what so ever but laughing in my face.the movers as send me text and email with treats ect and still the cops wont do nothing this is so frustrating that the scammers have more rights then us if we can;t get help from the cops for charging this scammes what are we suppose to do take the law in our hands all that to say the COPS STATION IN OTTAWA ON ELGIN ST ARE TOTALLY WORTHLESS

  Overall I had a positive experience. The police officers were really helpful with my case, aside from one of them.

  I went to ask about a possible fraud identity. The police officer that I spoke, told me that nobody can help me and no body will investigate this or any similar situation. So he basically told me that hacking personal information in Canada is legal (of course only if you are visible minorities or not-white) In defence of the Ottawa police, I found that the police officer that I saw only finished high school and then joined the police.. So in sum out, high pay -low educated police force CAN NOT deal with this kind of crime. Please to any people in charge of the police station, Seriously train your people to speak with people that are victim of fraud identiy and NOT WHITE!!!.. Also please teach them what it is an IP address or a cloud storage or even an email.....

  Some of the officers here are equipped with an attitude. WATCH OUT for officer Schulz, a lady-man like individual who will try to demotivate you from filing your claim. the officer dude harassed when I attempted to file a complain, and was stuck-up on accuracy of the information I provided, such as spellings of a name.

  The woman officer at the desk was too rude to be professional. Laughed at me when I asked to use a stapler to add a 2nd page to my incident report. There was 3 people at the desk in total and only 1 person was taking peoples #’s. I would recommend going all the way to the one in the East they have the fastest service and are courteous, respectful and have excellent customer service. Definitely learned my lesson and will NEVER come to this location again.
