  Missed appointment due to health reasons and charged 100$! Receptionist refused to schedule any further appointments to see a cardiologist and receive proper health treatment. Unconscionable.

  Everything as expected - don't understand the negative reviews. Parking is paid, but very cheap. Receptionists were friendly, helpful, normal. The technician who wired me up was similarly helpful and also efficient. I was back out in my car within 20 minutes. I showed up early, and they saw me early. Seems all fine to me.

  Parking is rather difficult. As for cardiologists, avoid Dr. Lee: he didn't explain anything to me and it took him forever before he refered to the heart institute. His name doesn't appear on the website, maybe for a reason. The three stars are for technologists and receptionists.

  I just have to clarify a few completely mistaken comments posted here. The location is PERFECT. It's exactly opposite Billings Bridge Shopping Centre which has free parking and is no more than 500 meters away. Billings Bridge is the second busiest OC Transpo hub in Ottawa. There has to be at least 25 bus runs along Bank street and into the mall for those who do not drive. Location comments are simply wrong unless you live in Kanata which is going to be a problem no matter what. The clinic is equipped with all the test equipment necessary to properly evaluate you so sometimes things run late. Regarding patients. I've noticed that at least 60% do not know what they are doing! They don't recall the name of their doctor. They don't understand English well, or at all, so have no comprehension of what is expected of them. They have not read preparatory instructions as what to bring for the appointment and so plug up the whole work schedule! ( No med's list, missing OHIP cards, no appointment, wrong date, no referral, no pick up afterwards that some procedures require when you are done. Non -compliance with prior instructions required for the procedure/interview etc. The list of incompetent patients is remarkable!). This truly frustrates staff. Many patients, though in the wrong, become rude and difficult to deal with and many speak to staff in their native tongue which of course nobody understands. And, what the heck does a comment like "Big Building" have to do with the care received. My doctor is John Dawdy and he is remarkable. He will give me all the time required to do his work as required. If you are rude, unprepared, argumentative and non-compliant with his prescription(s)and diagnosis then why would any Doctor spend time with you? It's time to be responsive, prepared and communicative patients people! So that's the other side of things as I see it. We all have to be responsible reasonable partakers of our "FREE" health care system. And, that's not "Free" to many people who are paying for others. Finally did you know your Cardiologist gets paid around $60.00 for the time he spends with you. That is clearly not enough for 25 years of education. But he or she does it anyway, because most of them care.

  I have been dealing with Dr. Niznick for about 16 years, along with this clinic. I have never had a bad experience here. He is an excellent physician.
