  Shawna Ellis is one of the best bank managers I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Such a kind and caring person, very attentive to all me needs.

  I had the same horrifying experience here! Corrupt, crooked manager Shawna Ellis and Adam Lui told me to make a cash deposit in the amount of 4000, they told me I can earn interest. After they took my cash deposit they told me they won't be able to open my account, and Kept my money for themselves. When I asked them why, they said its up to their discretion, and kicked me out and kept my retirement savings to themselves. I can't believe no one is doing anything to stop these Criminals Shawna Ellis and Adam Lui!

  Awful experience with Adam Lui of this National bank of canada at Calgary downtown location. 2 month ago i tried to open an account here and tried to deposit 1500 dollars to the chequing account. Adam Lui took my cash deposit, then decided to deny my account, and didnt not return my money! Scam and fraudulent operation done by Adam Lui and this NBC branch, Beware and stay away from Adam Lui!

  I'm here right now November/09/2017 at 2:13pm these guys 1st of all don't have a debit machine. Their clerks look soo frustrated. They seem to not know what their doing. Their line moves so slow even when you're the only one in it. Just not the type of experience you want to have with a bank. I haven't even got to the front desk yet anff i already know im going to have an issue with my transaction. No wonder they're rated 1.3 stars for a reason.

  As you can see from the other reviews, the National Bank is one of the worst banks in Canada. The tellers are not able to do anything for the customers. I sat in the bank for 49 minutes just waiting for them to cash a check for me. It always takes at least 10-15 minutes to get an agent on the phone, and they are never able to answer my questions. I feel bad for the tellers, as they face the frustration of customers but are unable to do anything about it. If you are thinking of opening an account here, think again!
