  This place is beyond what you would expect from an esthetique's salon. They deal with much more than you're average pedicure. They deal with aging skin and lazer hair removal. Their professionals could not know more what they are doing. Love the service there. It's such a personal experience to have you're own esthetician. This place offers that kind of intimacy and I highly recommend it. The place is spotless and stylish and relaxing. Go there now!

  I first met Danielle more than 35 years ago, shortly after she had established her business, Meta Esthetique, in a small room in the Delta Hotel. I had recently moved to Ottawa from northern Quebec, where the sub-arctic winds can quickly damage the skin, leaving a woman (or man) with a face that looks much older than it really is. I did not want this to happen to me. I heard about Meta from a sales person in the cosmetic department in the Bay. I went there, and Danielle took care of me. It was my first facial. It was wonderful. Later, as her business grew, Danielle relocated to an old church on Lyon St. The studio is spacious and tastefully decorated. Upon entering it, one is enveloped by a feeling of tranquility. After 35 years, Danielle has come to know my skin quite well, and I trust her completely to decide on the best course of treatment. She knows what she is doing. Many people comment that I look much younger than I really am. Meta provides more than just facials. Danielle keeps up with the latest developments in skin care treatment, and introduces new services and products from time to time. I love the Swiss Line skin care products that she carries. Manicures and pedicures are two popular treatments. Even my husband has a manicure from time to time. I am glad that I met Danielle all those years ago.   I have just finished another wonderful treamtment @ META Esthetique. I have been a client for over 25 years of the owner Danielle. Esthetiques continues to evolve with new procedures that have advanced beyond basic skin care and facials. Danielle is passisionate and has continued to evolve and train to a level of clinical esthetiques. The environment is unique as it is in a renovated church, the atmosphere is very relaxing. I highly recommend her services as I have personally benefited from the advancements in skin care. She and her staff will make you comfortable and educate new in the new procedures and technique that will improve your skins appearance.
