  Bride and/or groom reading this, congratulations, you’ve found your photographer! If your experience has been anything like ours, meticulously scouring through endless photography options, you’ll appreciate our story. After an extensive search we met with a few potentials and finally found Melissa and Jared – after our first meeting we thought to ourselves, if only we had found them in the first place! While it’s undeniable how exceptional their photography is, one of our favorite aspects of the entire experience was the personality and enthusiasm they brought to the table. Any fears we had about being awkward in front of the camera were alleviated within minutes of our engagement session. Their sense of humor and positive direction made all the difference! Melissa and Jared photographed our wedding at Cherry Creek Estate on an intense +36°c day that included an unexpected wind storm and swarms of mosquitoes. Not once did they complain! They remained calm, professional, and attentive from start to finish. In addition to this they came a day prior and thoroughly scouted the property to ensure we hit up the best locations. In terms of the final product, we can’t even begin to count how many compliments we received on our engagement and wedding photos. We know we will receive compliments for years to come as their style is timeless! Their attention to detail, creativeness, and sense for adventure provided us with formal photos that were natural and an array of candid moments throughout the day that we will cherish forever. Melissa and Jared, THANK YOU for being incredible people with an unparalleled passion for your profession, we are extremely grateful for all that you did for us!

  CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS! Now that everything is settling down after a huge trip and two weddings I finally have time for this well deserved outstanding review!! Craig and I wanted to let everyone know how awesome Melissa & Jared are!! We are from New Zealand, we traveled all the way to Lake Louise to elope in December. We spent our wedding day with these two and we had a fun, fabulous day! They are both kind & funny and make you feel perfectly comfortable in from of the camera, with plenty of direction if needed. We were definitely well taken care of. They went over and above for us and we are so very grateful. Our photos are amazing! And our friends and family are raving about them. Absolute 5 star duo!!   It was an absolute JOY to work with Melissa Rae for our wedding. Jared and Melissa made us feel super comfortable and relaxed for our formal shots, which turned out beautifully. They arrived early to scout out awesome locations for our outdoor pictures. Melissa and Jared captured our ceremony and wonderful family photos. I can't recommend them highly enough. We love our pictures!

  Working with Melissa and Jared was a great experience and they make you feel very comfortable. You can tell they have been doing this for a while as they are very knowledgeable in what they do. They are always available to answer any questions I have as well as have a very quick response time. Their photos speak for themselves as they capture amazing shots with vibrant backgrounds. The day of the wedding they very extremely helpful and overall just fun photographers to add to your big day. Thank you Melissa and Jared! we could not be happier with our photos!

  My husband and I were definitely nervous to be photographed, and we were worried about our photos being too staged, or forced. With Melissa and Jared, we felt comfortable and at ease. They are both so down to earth, kind, creative and hilarious. The two of them together, play off of one another to perfect each shot. They themselves are such an awesome couple, and they were able to capture what I believe to be a true reflection of us as a couple in all our photographs. They were willing to try anything we suggested, and were quick to suggest amazing ideas that turned out beautifully. On our wedding day, they had the perfect balance of presence and stealth. They were awesome at keeping our family photos on track, which is not an easy task due to the size of our family. We were able to enjoy the day fully, and there was absolutely no stress related to photography. Melissa and Jared were truly one of the highlights of our wedding experience. Starting with the engagement shoot, and through to the reception, we had so much fun working with them, and made some friends in the process!
