  They previously helped us when our dryer broke down. Jack helped us diagnose the problem, sold us the necessary part, gave us handy tips and we were able to do the repair ourselves. This time our washer packed it in. After talking with Leslie about the washers they had in the shop and taking a coffee break to mull over the pros and cons, we decided on purchasing a used high-quality commercial-grade washer. We appreciate the time this shop spends answering questions and the no-pressure sales. Jack is very experienced with a lot of knowledge. He has a straight-forward manner which can come across as a little cranky. Overall, this is an honest and reliable business. We'd recommend it.

  BEWARE !! on the surface McIvers seems to be ok. That is until you actually have a problem and they have to stand behind their work!! Here is my experience. We dealt with Mcivers for years to service our laundry machines and to rent laundry machines from them. We had two apartment buildings, one we owned the machines and Mcivers did repairs as needed and the other we rented the machines from them. Over the years they did repairs and we paid for their overpriced services. However, on one occasion they installed a new motor for a laundry machine that we owned. The cost was so high that we could have bought a new one but we were never told that before they did the repairs and sent us the bill. Nevertheless, we paid the bill. About 6 months later we started having the identical problem that we had prior to installing the new motor. Mcivers looked at the machine and advised we needed a new motor?? I spoke to the owner McIver and suggested that he should consider doing the repair for free or at least a reduced price since they had just replaced the motor and they should last longer. Seems reasonable right? No way, he completely shut me down. So I decided to write a polite letter ( and it was polite ) explaining our position and requesting he do the repair at their cost. You will NOT believe what happened next. On the next Friday which was a long weekend he went to our other building where we rented the machines from them and PULLED THEM OUT !!! No reply to my letter no discussion just basically an FU. That was the last day I did business with that jerk. Even the staff who knew us well were shocked. McIvers, all good until he has to stand behind his work ! DO NOT TRUST THIS GUY !! I wish I could give zero stars......

  Exceptional help and advice from a lady named Karen. My wife and I visited the store location expecting to spend lots of dollars on a replacement refrigerator and left with a part to repair the door of our existing unit for only $40. Would recommend this store for any appliance.

  Owner is expert in the appliance field. Honest opinion. They are not the cheapest, but paying $50 extra saves you headaches down the road. Owner gives you honest recommendation and advice. Very very knowledgeable. I will buy all future appliances here. Great owner!!!

  Helpful staff. Easy to get the parts I needed. Reasonable prices. My first stop for appliance parts.
