  As you may have already heard, this is the place a raccoon was pulled out during a fight. The owner seems to be fighting this reputation by playing classical music, but it remains clear that this McDonalds is a point of congregation for only the drunkest and most destitute denizens of the byward market. And thats okay. The service is still quick and the staff are nicer than they probably should be after all the stuff they've seen.

  Five stars given only beacause this is the location where a fight was taking place and a gentleman pulled a raccoon out of his coat.

  If I could give it 0 stars I would. I went to this McDonald's 2 years ago after school. I had no money on me and was waiting for my parents to come because they were going to buy me lunch. After waiting for 10min the manager came next to me and said homeless are not allowed and I have to leave. I told him I was waiting for my parents but he said he is not going to argue with me and if I don't leave he's call the cops... After another 5min he said he called the cops and I left and waited for my parents outside. Avoid this place at all costs!

  Two days in a row ordered hashbrowns. They took 5 mins after my order to realise they needed to cook more, 5 mins to cook them and 5 mins to put them in a bag. I watched the whole process. Staff CBF’d putting any effort in.

  Staff aren't paid enough to deal with the aggressive drunk/high late night patrons. McDonalds can do better than this. Permanent security on site is required.
