  Excellent service and knowledge. Finally found a trusted source to repair my shoes. Good stock of some unique non mainstream shoes as well.

  When I received my moccasins back after asking to have the sole stitched back on, the stitching was going out of the grooves and almost onto the moccasin itself. The cobbler didn't even bother stitching all of the way around the sole. The repair was botched and I'm flabbergasted that the owner could let this kind of work return to his customers.

  My aunt needed some work done on a pair of shoes she wanted to wear to a party. I decided to take her to Max’s as she lives near there and I’ve known the owners for some time. They got the shoes done lightning fast and had them looking as fresh as the day my aunt bought them! I was impressed to the point where I took my mom to have some work done on her winter boots and she also left impressed by Max and Sonya’s impeccable and fast service! I highly recommend them and they also sell some stylish looking footwear and purses. Right in the heart of Westboro village, you really can’t go wrong with them!

  These guys know what they're doing, and they're really good at it and honest! It clearly shows they have expertise, and they are very good at explaining whatever they are going to do to fix your shoes/boots. Don't be fooled by the negativity, not everyone appreciates true expertise and honest work, unfortunately. I brought in a few boots for repair/waterproofing, but unfortunately, one of them couldn't be waterproofed because of the material or something. Tried moneysworth and best for a second opinion, and they were asking for way more and said both of them could be waterproofed. So I checked online, and Max was right: you can't waterproof certain materials (I had converse chuck Taylor's, basically cotton). They could've ripped me off, but didn't, and that is proof of honesty! Don't care what anyone else says, I'm vouching for these guys %100!! And I'm betting the negative reviews come from negative nancys that love to rant and b!tch about everything just to complain. Keep up the good and honest work, definitely coming back here for shoe repairs!!
